Share a weekend with other families impacted by childhood cancer in a beautiful Maine beach town.

Healing Nest Retreats bring together three families that have been impacted by childhood cancer, for a fun and relaxing weekend in a beautiful rental home. You’ll have time to explore the idyllic town of Kennebunkport and the local beaches.

Each family will have their own bedroom(s) and bathroom. We will offer optional activities to connect with each other, including a delicious homemade dinner on Saturday night. We will also offer parents massages and family portrait sessions on the beach.

Does my family qualify? For this retreat, we can accept 3 families that have a child that is in recovery from cancer treatment or similar pediatric illness. You must live within the 6 New England states or NY or NJ to apply. If you have attended our Positively Healing or Caring for the Caring Retreats in the past, you still qualify to attend one Healing Nest Retreat. Due to the recent increased interest in our retreats, after attending a specific type of retreat, you must wait 3 years to attend that same retreat again.

Rett’s Roost retreats are nondenominational. We act, and ask our participants to act, without discriminating against any person or organization because of their race, age, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, or religious belief.
