For our fall fundraiser this year, we are trying something new! Please consider joining us for the… Inaugural Ogunquit Home & Garden Tour: Marginal Way Edition. Who doesn’t want to get a peek inside some of the most beautiful homes in Ogunquit? Grab a friend (or several) and take a walking tour of 5-8 unique homes of different styles and build years in the Marginal Way neighborhood. These homes all have an interesting story and history. Most contain beautiful art work and prolific gardens.

Proceeds from this event will be used to support Rett’s Roost’s healing family retreats for families impacted by childhood cancer and child loss. Scroll way down to see our Raffle Prizes! Tickets can be purchased by the general public before 9/7 by emailing info@rettsroost.org . You do not need to be in attendance to win.

Tour participants will be given a starter home (to manage traffic flow) and can begin the tour anytime between 9-11am. They will have until 1pm to visit all homes. At their first home they will receive their Rett’s Roost event bracelet, foot coverings, and a detailed route map and program (pdf available to save paper).

Rett’s Roost ambassadors (hint, hint: great volunteer opportunity) will be stationed along the route and at each home to manage house traffic and answer questions about Rett’s Roost. The homeowners also are encouraged to be available to answer questions about their properties.

The entire route of houses is less than 1 mile in distance. Transportation is not included for this event, however, you can try using one of the in-town taxi services: Ogunquit Shuttle Cart, Ogunquit Beach Caddie.

Because this is a fundraiser for Rett’s Roost, there will be a story of one family we’ve supported through the years displayed in each home. Included at our merchandise table will be gift cards showcasing art work from the kids that attend our retreats this summer. At one home there will be several amazing raffle prizes to try to win.

Other eye-catching activities happening on September 7th are the Plein Air Art Festival at Perkins Cove and the Rotary Club’s Capriccio Festival of Kites at Main Beach. Come check out all three amazing events.

Rain date is scheduled for Sept 8th. If the whole weekend is a wash-out, we will need to cancel, however, your ticket will be good for next year!

You must be 16+ to visit the homes. Please stay tuned for a fun event for the kids in October. While we will not be holding the 5K this year, but the FUN RUN is still on!
