PEACE POST-TREATMENT RETREATS

The road to survivorship is long, grueling, and traumatic. The entire family is affected by a child’s diagnosis, treatment, and the loss of a childhood imagined. Many cancer families find that support provided during treatment wanes and transition to survivorship often find families alone and trying to navigate a new normal. Join families nearing or completed treatment for a workshop supporting life after treatment at our 2-day, 6-hour online Peace Post-Treatment retreats. During our time together over two Sunday afternoons, we will share stories, access therapists for strategies to deal with anxiety and PTSD, and create a community of support of families who have “been there.” Parents can Apply here for our April session:

GRIEF IS LOVE BEREAVEMENT RETREATS

Managing grief is hard work, and when you lose a child, grief does not ever go away completely. Cultivating a community of lovingkindness & understanding is one intention of all Rett’s Roost retreats. At our 2-day, 6-hour online Grief is Love retreats for bereaved parents (vilomah), we promise to offer a safe and empathetic environment with professional grief facilitators, as well as moments of reflection & remembrance of the children that have passed. Learn about the types of healing work you can do to help you through the hard days. All types of loss accepted, any length of time since death, child must have died before turning 20, or to a childhood-related illness. Parents can Apply here for our March session:
