During the month of June we will be offering a series of three, one-hour online sessions focused on a different modality of healing. The grief-laden and traumatic emotions of caring for a sick child or losing your child are intense and can most certainly lead to depression, anxiety, and a lack of overall wellbeing if not addressed in therapeutic ways. These individual sessions will take place on three consecutive Tuesday evenings from 7-8pm. Join one or all. These are free offerings for our families. Scroll down to read about each one.
Part One: Tools and Tips for Managing Anxiety with Emily, 6/8, 7-8pm ET
Our first presenter: Emily Dziedzic, Master Coach, A Radical Life with Emily.
Emily has been a volunteer for the last 20 years at Camp Sunshine, a retreat for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. She learned so much from watching families navigate a life they never imagined with courage, grace, and strength. Since then she has achieved certifications as a Master Coach and Trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Hypnotherapy, and Time Line Therapy.
In this workshop, Emily will give a brief introduction to the mind, how it works, and where anxiety comes from. She’ll also teach tools and tips to manage anxiety and shift the feelings that come with it. You’ll come away with a toolbox full of skills to use to calm your mind when anxiety creeps in.
Part Two: Shamanic Journey Into Healing Grief, 6/15, 7-8pm ET
Our second presenter: Sarah Thompson, RSHom(NA), IHC, Inner Sea Homeopathy
Sarah brings a shamanic perspective to her practice of homeopathy. She combines the application of the rigorous analytical tools of classical homeopathy for remedy selection with the shamanic tools of narrative, analogy and metaphor to identify the deepest patterns of disease and inspire the healing process. She works in the lineages of Hahnemannian homeopathy, Qero Shamanism, Bach flower essences, and Attunement.
In this one hour session Sarah will share a brief introduction into her shamanic approach to homeopathy and then open a sacred space and lead participants on a healing path into the light space beyond heavy emotions. There will be an opportunity for reflection and closure at the end of the session.
