On Saturday, June 3rd (Raindate: June 4th) we’re inviting families together for an easy to moderate hike up to the top of Mt. Agamenticus. We’ll offer snacks on the summit. Our adventure will be led by our friend and naturalist, Sarah Brown, who will offer a 20-min, hands-on nature demonstration at the top. We’ll be learning about the environment along the way.
If you’ve never been there this is a great mountain with amazing views at the top on a clear day of the ocean, the white mountains in NH, and even the Boston skyline. It is fully accessible to almost everyone thanks to the auto road and wheelchair-accessible trail that rings the top. We will be meeting at the base at 1pm and the hike can take anywhere from 45 min – 1 hour to reach the summit. All families that have experienced childhood cancer or child loss of any kind are welcome.
